It Has Been A While

I went back to jogging today. The last time I jogged, it was during the Army 10 Miles Run (7th October 2007) down in D.C. about 10th months ago. I jogged about 4.5 to 5 miles with walking at the end. Somehow I haven't seen Bob for 5 years or so, I decided to stop by and paid him a surprise visit. I heard from Tzu, Bob came back to the U.S last year or early this year. Boy did he loose weights or what, maybe 50 pounds, he is a big guy 5 feet 10. Now he just look slightly funny with a big head and lumpy shoulder.

On the other hand. The choice of going back to school on 27th of August give me the goosebumps, 3 classes to go and I will be obtaining my degree. It is a weird feeling. Also I have to preparing and go back to training for the Army 10 Miler again in October on the 5th.

Trip Down To Indiana

Well. It is actually Indiana County of Pennsylvania from 28th of July to 1st of August. It was a really interesting experience for five days. Stop by IUP (Indiana University of Pennsylvania) where my cousin Ken received his bachelor and master from there. Saw Amish canoeing and eating ice cream and Burger King. Lesson from this trip, "I need my own digital SLR camera" when I have save up enough extra cash.

One Of Those Thing...

Today marked the one year anniversary that I got hit by a car and the reason I started this blog. Last year on May 8th, between 1400 to 1430 hours two hours after class I got hit by a car on the corner of Horace Harding Expy west bound and Kissena Blvd intersection in front of the Dunkin Donuts/Baskin-Robins about a block away from QC. Its been a year, somehow my knuckles on my right foot still feel weird. It is not the same as it used to be. At least I am fortunate and grateful that I am alive and well for now.

Last Saturday, May 3rd. I attended Donna and Robin's wedding down in Philly with Mike, and Pete plus others. Robin, the fourth or fifth PR from my 10 members pledge class of 2001 that got married up to date. So far, I attended three wedding. Is funny that Robin got out of the active Army as a captain after almost four years with Signal Corps, stationing in Germany and Iraq. Actually I feel totally weird for some unexplained reasons. Maybe, I am unable to comprehend the meaning of love and affections etc. Maybe some day...

Early this week, I received Jesse's reply from facebook. He been in two fire fights against the Talis in Afghanistan. I wonder did his squad/platoon get ambushed or encounter them during patrols. Probably the same thing happen to Phil since they both are in the same company. Well. I wish them the best and come back home safe. As for me. When is my chance to fight? Who knows. Lets see what my status is during or after the summer.

Somehow. My fear is get into a unrewarding job and feel miserable after I am done with my degree after this year. Enlist in the Army then get my commission after a few years or continue with my education by becoming a physician assistant are the two thing I wanted out of life. If it won't happen. I guess is just another shattered dream discard among the rest of population. Oh well. Lets leave it to fate.

Some Awful Fact

So many things went by, it comes and goes. It has been 5 years and counting since Operation Iraqi Freedom/Gulf War II back in March 20th/21th of 2003. 4,000 and counting the number of American service members killed as the war enters since then. Countless Iraqis killed and exact numbers are unknown.
